Look for the movie coming out this summer August 20, 2020.
    Most Excellent!    We are excited!
Although Gordy's Music specializes in vintage guitar and amplifier gear I have
sold hundreds of accordions and vintage synthesizers over the past 4 decades.
I was raised on the accordion and classically trained for 10 years at the age of 5 by my late father Ben Lupo.
My dad was a professional accordion-keyboard player for 75 years from the age of 13 and I have
on my wall here at the store his
'70 year member' plaque from the Detroit Local 5 Federation of Musicians Union.
I miss my father and I know accordions.
This fine instrument was made in just outside of Chicage at the still in busines today Italo American Accordion Company.  They have been building handmade accordions for about 120 years.  I spoke to the very nice woman there and she remebered this model and actually sent me the page in their atalog from back in 1932.  AMAZING information as you will see from the email she sent me shown in one of the pictures.
When my friend-customer of 35 years brought this beauty in for me to sell my jaw dropped.  Gorgeous!  I was totally amazed when I started to inspect it for flaws and defects and could not really find any!  Except the original strap is a bit worn almost to the point of needing to be repaired or replaced.  But that was it!!
I mean bellows tight,, all the keys and bass buttons working, and the 1 trebel shift with 3 positions which I have never seen before works very well and drops the tone down nice and deep, full, and LOUD from a lighter slightly higher pitched accordion TONE!  Yes a lot of good sound coming out of this box!  FANTASTIC!
Clean is not the word.  Light honest wear does not hardly exist while ageing and patina show well in the pictures.
    Well cared for?  You think!
I applaude the builders and can only imagine what they are producing today.  We are pricing this piece of art at what this company is selling their products for today and this particular model would cost TWICE what we are asking,, IF they would even reproduce it.
A true gem, 'Collectors Piece' investment, and true
American almost 100 year old artwork that plays wonderful sounding music!
The well known Gieb manufactured case
is in worn but FULLY functional condition.
